
Steps
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika to create the marinade.
- Place the salmon fillet in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the fillet is well coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the leftover marinade.
- Place the salmon skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes without moving it, allowing the skin to crisp up.
- Carefully flip the salmon and grill for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
