Paneer Tikka Masala

A delicious and creamy vegetarian Indian dish made with marinated paneer cubes cooked in a spiced tomato gravy.

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt. Add paneer cubes and marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Sauté until golden brown.
  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  4. Add tomato puree, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add marinated paneer cubes and diced bell pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.

  • For the Marinade:
  • 200g paneer, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For the Gravy:
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
