Avocado Bruschetta

Steps

1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). 2. Slice the whole grain bread into 1/2 inch thick pieces and place them on a baking sheet. 3. Drizzle the bread slices with olive oil and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown. 4. While the bread is toasting, scoop the avocado into a bowl and mash it with a fork. 5. Add the diced tomato, chopped basil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to the mashed avocado, stirring gently to combine. 6.
