
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Slice the onion thinly.
- In a pan, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced onions.
- Cook the onions for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are soft and caramelized.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet and score a border around the edge.
- Spread the caramelized onions on the pastry, leaving the border clear.
- Crumble the goat cheese over the onions and drizzle with honey.
- Beat the egg and brush it over the pastry border.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
