Steps
1. Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

4. Add the halved cherry tomatoes and red wine to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper, and let simmer for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
5. Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet, mixing well with the sauce.
6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
