
Steps
- Peel and boil the potato until soft, then mash it until smooth.
- In a bowl, combine the warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed potato, flour, salt, olive oil, and garlic powder (if using).
- Add the yeast mixture and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Divide the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
