Steps
1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
2. In a small pot, combine the rinsed rice and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork.
3. While the rice cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
4. Add shrimp to the pan, sprinkle with chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp is pink and cooked through.
5. Serve the shrimp over the fluffy rice, garnish with cilantro, and a squeeze of lime juice. Enjoy!
