Steps
1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente.
2. While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

4. Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
5. Reduce the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine.
6. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
7. Drain the pasta and add it to the mushroom sauce, tossing to coat.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
