
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, and salt.
- Add water gradually to form a smooth batter.
- Mix in the sliced potato and onion until they are well coated.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- Carefully drop spoonfuls of the batter-coated vegetables into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
