Steps
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon zest until well combined.
Grease a small baking dish with butter and place the bread slice inside.
Pour the egg mixture over the bread, ensuring it is fully soaked.
Sprinkle the blueberries over the top of the bread.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the egg is set and the top is golden.
Allow to cool slightly before serving with maple syrup.
