
Steps
- Rinse the mussels under cold water and scrub the shells to remove any debris.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the mussels to the pot and cover with a lid. Steam for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels have opened.
- Discard any mussels that remain closed. Stir in the chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
