
Steps
- Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the chicken breast and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked through and golden brown.
- While the chicken is cooking, in a separate pan, add the sliced apples and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they are tender.
- Drizzle the honey over the apples and stir to combine.
- Once the chicken is done, place it on a plate, top it with the sautéed apples, and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top.
- Return the plate to the skillet for 1-2 minutes to melt the cheese slightly.
- Garnish with fresh thyme if desired and serve hot.
